Alton Towers is well known all over the world for haveing world first roller coasters. Alton Towers Opened in 1980 as a theme park. It has 5 major roller coasters and 3 water rides. The History of the towers is brilliant because someone did live at Alton Towers. In the future there is another worlds first roller coaster planed in UG land in 2010  because the iconic Corckscrew was closed on the 7th November 2008.
